- The main aim of STARCAMP is to create an atmosphere without inhibitions for all our children where they can thrive. We create energetic surroundings full of positivity, joy and use of the imagination, we build their self esteem through encouragement and most importantly -we let the children know just how wonderful they really are! To bring out their inner star!
- The camp runs from Monday to Friday 9:30am - 2:30pm daily
- At the end of the week, (Friday - for the last hour or so) the children will put on a performance for parents and all "future fans!"
- Starcamp participants will be sub - divided into their own age categories and each will have very different routines. These average accordingly with the applicants ages but are normally 5-7, 8-10 and 11+. Each category will have different song choices, dance routines and will be taught different levels of acting skills for the betterment of all participants.
- The children will begin the week with name games to get to know each other and begin each day with warm up exercises which have been psychologically created to break down inhibitions and make the children feel happy, confident and relaxed. When children are feeling like this - their fears disappear and we can get most out of them!
- Each day they will have a singing class, a dance class and an acting class along with group time. There will be 2 breaks throughout the day, so ensure that they bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink!
- We ask that they wear clothes that are suitable for easy movement - such as tracksuit pants/ leggings and runners. We provide STARCAMP t-shirts!
